Hwag, I was too pre-baby...then after having the baby, with the excess weight came the butt.  That's the first time I ever gained weight in my butt.  In the past I would gain it mostly in the belly and arms.  I don't know if it was the change in hormones, in age, or just my family genetics finally kicking in after 35 years.  My baby already has a huge butt LOL so the family genes run strong!

... would just like to lose the weight and keep the butt... is that too much to ask??? LOL

Of course, my luck, I will probably be complaining in a few months that my butt is too big and nothing I do is helping   A girl is never satisfied!

Start weight:  252 pounds

High weight:  268 pounds

I do that BBL, squat heavy, and will run stairs - and when I flex I have a nice round melony booty.  But a gal cannot stay flexed forever :}.

At some point, my hard work is lost in the baggy skin pants I get to wear.  For me, "keeping some curves" has been a balance of keeping enough fat tissue and building up the muscle underneath.

But MUSCLE IS ALWAYS GOOD!!  for a million five reasons! Just depending on your shape, and how much you have to lose, how much you do lose, where you were heavy - sometimes the intricate beauty of your hard work is not so, well.  Evident.  :}
