I'm 14 months post-op and I don't take fiber supplements, never did.  Earlier out, when I was constipated, I found ReViva calcium citrate liquid at Costco.  500 mg of calcium in 1 Tbsp, and it even tastes good.  The thing is, it also has magnesium citrate in it, which keeps things moving even if I'm a little short on water ingestion.  No constipation here!

Not really a post op Vet only 3+ months out and veggies are enough to keep me regular.....  When I did have problems in month 1-2 I used small doses of Miralax the night before.  A little Yogurt and or Kefir also keep me moving but its the veggies that were enough to solve this issue daily for me...

I'm 25 months out.  If I eat a protein bar, it's an original Quest bar.  I eat lots of veggies, GG Brancrisp a few times a week.  Some mornings I put a spoon of Benefiber in my decaf.  Once a week, if my digestion feels less than optimal I have a capful of Miralax, Costco brand.

The lower carb I eat, the more I want that Benefiber.  Drinking enough fluids makes a big difference as well.

Coffee seems to do the trick with me......I have a cup and I'm ready to hit the head in about an hour.

But seriously......what are Quest bars?  I see them mentioned alot.....are they decent?  They seem to have a good amt of protein and fiber.  Are they all they are cracked up to be?
