Hiatal Hernia Repair
I had hernia repair and my gall bladder removed and got sleeved too! No major problems. Ii didn't know that I had the hernia or that my gall bladder was full of stones until a few days before surgery when the doc told me during the final consult. I saved the giant gall stone and will make a necklace out of it.
Anyway, don't worry too much about it. You'll feel better after it is done!

I also had a 2fer with an inguinal hernia repair/sleeve procedure. my hernia was a botched earlier repair with lots of scar tissue and my doc was able to fix both in under 4 hours. recovery was a bit more painful but nothing compared to a c-section if you ever had one of those. overall in 6 weeks i was stronger than ever and now 3 months later in the best shape of my adult life :)
Prior to surgery I would cough all the time. The cough would wake me up at night. I did not know that I had a hernia until one week before surgery. The morning of surgery my doctor stated that the hernia appeared quite small on the upper GI series, so he would probably leave it alone. After surgery he told me that he did the hiatal hernia repair as the hernia was much larger than it appeared on the upper GI. I did not have any additional discomfort from the hernia repair. The coughing has ended and I am very grateful for both the hernia repair and the VSG.
I went in knowing I'd need my HH repaired and they ended up having to do 2 other things, my spleen was fused to my stomach (horse back riding accident) and I had a HUGE whole in my diaghram. Honestly if they hadn't told me I don't think I would have noticed except I had a fair few extra incisions in me that wouldn't have been there otherwise.
