This is most likely the same problem. I got mine so bad under my breast a few years ago that actually had to go to ER

Best thing I have found that usually clears up a SEVERE breakout by severe I mean bleeding and can barely move cause the pain is so bad is some cream/ointment called Lantiseptic. I get it from the pharmacy area. Its like 10 dollars for a jar of it. Its a barrier incontinence cream but it seals out moisture allowing the area to dry out underneath. I apply it about once a week just after a shower and keep it on till the next shower which is usually about 24 hrs. Waaa Laa its all better! Occasionally there may be a small area needing to go one more day but very rarely. The only time it comes back is if I miss like 2 weeks and then get hot and sweaty. Hope this helps cause I know first hand how painful and aggravating this can be!

Ok, I never saw this for ten bucks, I will try it, here is the link, for others; http://www.lantiseptic.com/product_skin_protectant.aspx

Do you think it would work to put some powder on first and then this over top?

After shower, pick up folds, wherever they are on the body and towel dry & then blow dry. I use monistat if needed for yeast. Damp skin causes yeast. That is why the nystatin works.

Well, this is another one I would have never thought about, probably no one would have ever thought to suggest a feminine hygiene product to a guy......why would he need it, he ain't got the parts for it..LOL.....  I asked my pharmacist because my doctor was not much help, the pharmacist suggested the Nystain, my doctor was reluctant but wrote the script....bet the pharmacists was probably too embarrassed to suggest a feminine hygiene product to a man but since you say that Nystop treats yeast, I bet she new better...

Ok this one sounds cheap and over the counter too..So hey I'm, confident enough in who I am to be able to try a feminine hygiene product... I hope it works for me.......LOL  shhhhh dont tell anybody...

I'm early out so no problems yet but because I already have a pretty big pani I imagine this will be an ongoing problem.  Here's the issue I have with going over the counter.  You aren't seeing a doctor and then it isn't going in your record.  As annoying as it will be I plan on seeing the doctor every frickin' week if I have to because without that paper trail my insurance won't pay for a pani removal.  They won't even pay for a tummy tuck just the panni removal but I can probably swing the difference with the surgeon.

I'm sure your right about the medical record part, every time I see him, I ask him again and I let him know its still there and ask for a solution, I suppose I need to let it stink up and get ugly for him a time or two... just to impress him, (poor guy).   Meanwhile I still want some relief from it...  If I followed his suggestion I would be spending at least $19 a week (or more) on the Nystop prescription he gave me and I am not.... so yeppers, cant stop the documentation, just cause I am going over the counter ....good point...

yeah I think seeing him, get the prescription but don't fill it going with the OTC stuff.  That way it's documented but you aren't out the big bucks.

Because of Vsg - welcome to my world! Yeast can show up under your arms, chafing between your legs, under the breast folds - anywhere you have loose skin. Buy the cheapest monistat - drug store brand is fine - & just the large tube. It only takes a little bit. Let us know how it works for you. Be sure to blow dry area, cool setting on blow dryer.
