I'm still hanging in there LOL  I am losing, just very slooooooooooowly.
One thing that is giving me a lot of anxiety is that I read 2 posts where someone got approved, did the required diet and then got denied because they got under the BMI of 40.
I was exactly at 40 when I got initial "approval" for the sleeve.  I asked them "If I lose weight can they reject me later because my BMI will be under the requirement" - they said NO.
If that happens to be wrong...and something happens and I get denied, I don't know what I will do!
I have an appointment next week with the surgeons office.  That will be visit number 3 of the 4 required.  I am going to ask again.
Since according to insurance charts I should weigh about 135 pounds I don't see how being at 239 would not still be considered high enough (that's over 100 pounds).  I mean, that is nowhere near my goal weight (I think my bones weigh more than that)- but it's their criteria.  I hope they don't change their minds!

Start weight:  252 pounds

High weight:  268 pounds

Slowly is still loosing.
I hope you get that all cleared with your surgeon I don't see how they could go back and deny it so I hope that doesn't happen to you. I on the other hand have nothing to worry about in that department even if I lost 100 before surgery (like I want to) and still have plenty of weight to go around :(
Ohh well at least we are doing something about it, right!
