Why-Loose Skin....???
Trust me.. I see no one here as a sacred cow, and I have quietly, and very rarely - not so quietly voiced my opposing opinion. I do frown on name calling (not saying you did this, or ad hom attacks, that's not useful, period.)
But yes, I can see and CAN understand how someone MAY believe or may be ignorant (in the true meaning of the word) of the way their anatomy actually works (heck, I see that every frikken day here) and could be surprised at the damage obesity causes to the skin.. as I said, especially for someone that has NEVER seen themselves at a normal size.. Yes, this ignorance can be cleared up (on all accounts) with a a little Google-fu, but not everyone does that.. and I wouldn't expect everyone does, that would be me projecting myself onto someone else, something I try hard not to do.. Just because I *am* one way, does not make it so everyone is that way.. Hope that was understandable in the way I meant it? I feel like I'm rambling again.. :)

I don't see anyone as a sacred cow either. You're always understandable Jo. It's funny how the body responds differently over time too. 4 years ago when I lost a significant amount of weight I didn't have any of the skin issues that are starting to appear now (apparently I've become old!). Btw, google scared the **** out of me when it came to skin! I would rather have not seen what was out there! The only thing I like seeing is the"afters" on surgeries. Those make me happy.
Response to edelu's above post:
I wouldn't say head to head......sparring comes to mind....but healthy and enjoyable dialog!
