Surprise in the lingerie section

So, I finally broke down and bought new bras.  My old ones were just not cutting it anymore after the weight loss.  I went to that store that rhymes with Main Giant, and selected some new ones to try on.  After a few tries, I figured out that I have lost 6 inches in band size.  Not too shabby.  But - get this! - my cup size actually went UP! It seemed unreal to me, because I think the girls have gotten droopier in the past few months, but apparently I still have enough upstairs! I know, I know, the cup size is dependent on your measurements, but I certainly did not expect this little surprise!!! I feel like I'm walking around with a little more OOMPH!

Main Giant... bahaha! I like that!

The cup size thing is interesting to me too. How exciting!

Somehow or another after 55lbs of weight loss and 41" gone forever - I went from a 44F to a 38F...my girls are firmly in place for the long haul I do believe!

Yeah, cup size isn't equal across band sizes.. I'm still a D, but now I'm a 34D and not a 46D! I can tell you, the cups on the 34 are much MUCH smaller in volume than the ones on my old bras!

Not a lot of my friends understood that cups aren't all equal across the band sizes.. they thought a D was a D regardless! So when I was big, and a D there was a minor argument that I HAD to be bigger than a D because this friend was also a D, but was prob about a 38D.. ! Weird.

Yep you're right.  A=1" over band size and so on so it is relational to your band size.  Which is why I am now a 38 F instead of a 42 DDD.

I have yet to do this, waiting till I settle at a stable weight.. but Victoria's Secret will fit you and do not blink at the saggy bits that need to be tucked and all that. My friend (WLS patient) swears by their bras... and I did follow their online sizing guide and ordered a $50.00 bra that was on sale for $19, and it fits perfect. So, try this and see what you come up with:

I just realized I was buying bras that were too big on waist and not big enough on cup so now I've went from a 52 d to a 42dd
