Sisters advice for 1st two weeks
My sister had RYN 2 years ago. I am having sleeve in June. She sent me this in an email today and thought I would share.
Here is a list of 10 things to have on hand for your first 2 weeks. 1. Vanilla protein shake mix 2. Torani Syrup flavors 3. Sugar free popsicles- I would eat several a day. 4. Sugar free Jello 5. Chicken Broth- I like the OREM brand you find it in the kosher section, I used Unjury too 6. I have an awesome recipe for a pureed black bean soup once you can eat full liquid 7. Progreso Chicken Enchilada Soup is delicious and can be blended smooth, Mom found this soup flavor for me and it’s great. 8. Decaf instant coffee crystals-You can use them to make Protein Frappucinos with your Magic Bullet. One Scoop protein mix, 4 tablespoons of Torani syrup of your choice, water or skim milk, a teaspoon of decaf instant, ice, mix and drink. 9. Propel Zero Calorie Drinks or Sobe Zero or Crystal Light, you will be sipping on water throughout the day and you will get bored with plain water. 10. When you get to the soft stage, I have recipes using Ricotta cheese or Greek Yogurt.
