PCOS - qualify for surgery???

i don't think it counts however most PCOSers are insulin resistant which is a prediabetic condition and also end up on metformin. I believe once you start taking metformin they consider you to have a comorbidity of diabetes... That's how they saw me, though I didn't need it because my BMI was 5 million

Wow I didn't realize that sulfa drug allergies and PCOS go hand in hand. Guess my PCP and endo didn't realize either as that was never mentioned in all the testing I was put through to come up with a diagnosis of PCOS. I have a very severe allergic reaction to sulfa drugs including swelling of the tongue and blisters in the month and on tongue. My Endo kept looking for something else to be my problem other then PCOS but all my symptoms matched PCOS to a tee.
