My insurance is asking for documentation of all diets or exercise programs i have done.  I have done Weigh****chers and Jenny craig and even did Biggestloser.com.  I have no idea how to get this documentation.  Has anyone else had to do this and you did how did you get the paperwork?

thanks

My insurance asked for the same thing.  I did WW for over a year.  If you have your book from WW for your weight in, that should be sufficient.   If you don't have the book,  go to the meeting center you attended they should have it.  If they don't have it, called Customer Service they should be able to get that for you.  The same thing with Jenny craig.  I never done Biggestloser.com but the should have a weight in records there, right?

I used to do WW online and i printed the weight in and gave them to my surgeon along with my weight records from my primary doctor and they insurance approved my surgery friday.

It looks like you've got some good advice here. I submitted copies of my weight records with Quick Weight Loss and Weigh****chers too, but I also printed receipts of my cancelled checks/CC receipts to these organizations as well. Hope you can find what you need to get approved!

I'm sorry they're making you jump through so many hoops but I know WW will still have your records and Jenny Craig, should, too.  You should be able to print something out from biggestloser.com.  Do you have an account there still that you can just print the stats from or something?

Oh, that stinks! I remember we've talked b/f and you have Aetna, right? So do I. I will be asking for approval in a month and I don't have copies of past attempts either. Geeze. Are you currently under the supervision of a nutritionist, trainer, etc.? Will that info not work for you?

Sorry you're having to track all of this down, I know it must be frustrating. Let us know how visiting WW and Jenny Craig goes. Good luck w/ everything!

Yes i have aetna.  Jenny craig was pretty easy all i had to do was fax a letter requesting the info and now im just waiting to see how long it will take to get the info emailed back to me.  I have not heard back from WW's customer service yet so i dont know what i need to do in order to get my records.

As far as biggest loser i am trying to figure that one out becuase when i sign on it is asking me to rejoin and not letting me get past the payment page.  I am doing the supervised diet with the Nutritionist as we speak so we will see what happens.  I have an appointment with in 2 hours with the surgeon so lets see what happens then.
