This is a typical quantity for me at just over 2.5 years out.

2.5oz Ground Chicken and some veg......

This was actually a little to much.....left a couple bites.

I am 19 months out and have been at the same capacity since 4 months post-op.  I can eat around 3-3.5 ounces of meat with a few bites of veggies.

You might be interested in the VSG maintenance board where you will find the people who are VSG vets like you.

Frisco, I love your food porn but I look at that and think "wow, I can't imagine eating all that".

This morning for breakfast I had 4 oz ground beef with hot salsa.  That was flyer my first 5k walk of the day. I was hungry.  Lunch was a Quest Bar because I was out and hungry.  Snack 1 oz pistachio nuts.  Dinner- 4 oz Cod, 2 mini sweet peppers, a few slices grapefruit.  Dinner was after my 2nd 5k of the day.

I eat more than a lot of people here.  I'm almost 27 months out.

Hey Mechelle...

I feel like I derailed your post......which was not my intention....

I really feel that keeping portions to under your sleeve capacity is one of the keys to long term weight control and retaining long term restriction.

For me..... carb control is also very important. Although I may pride myself on being able to eat anything, I keep my carbs pretty low in the grand scheme of things......40grams during WL and 80grams in maintenance......

When I'm up a couple pounds and feeling puffy.....no surprise.....to many carbs and to much sugar.

Nice to see you again!.....Hope this helps....
