Does anyone take Advil?

I was ok-ed for Advil about 4 weeks after my surgery.  My workouts are sometimes very intense so I take it (on a full stomach, preferably) may once or twice a week.  I have GERD and I do sometimes feel the extra acid in my stomach, but it doesn't last longer than 5 minutes.

If you crushed the advil and take it mixed with an apple sauce, wouldn't it be ok for your stomach????

I take the liquid gels, I think they break down faster, I am 3.5 yrs out and take up to 4 at a time through the whole post op period without issues. My doctor told me I can take whatever pills I want as long as I eat something with them. My surgeon is also a VSG patient, so he can relate from his own experience. Your mileage may vary

 I take four a day for back issues (not pain, but I have bulging discs that cause nerve issues b/c of swelling, and it helps keep the swelling down so it does not bother my leg as much).
