I know there were a ton of us who were sleeved the week of 3/19.  So check in.  Let us know how you're doing.  Are you struggling?  Successes?  Let's hear it!

As for me.  I weighed in at 234.4 on surgery day and I'm currently at 201.  I was REALLY hoping to make the 199 mark for 8 weeks but that's ok, I know I'm doing right and I can't make the scale move.  maybe this week!

I'm exercising A LOT.  I start training for a half-marathon this week.  I've run a 5k, I just scheduled another one for July 4th (I'm going to run the whole thing for that one) and I have 2 more races (culminating in a 10 miler in Oct)  in the fall.

I'm STILL struggling to get all my water in.  It's a daily struggle.  Now if I drink too much water it makes me sick.  I even threw up all my water yesterday when I woke up and got really sick to my stomach last night when I was trying to get more in.  Not sure what to do about that.

I am feeling good. I have lost 40 lbs including the 15 I lost in my pre op diet. My surgery was on march 16th. I  started exercising a couple of weeks ago, I walk for an hour on trails near my house.

It sounds like you are doing fabulous!

Could your situation really be a case of building muscle that weighs more than fat? With all the running and working out... well, it's a thought!

You're doing so great!

[I'm not gaining weight. I keep lowering my goal!] [I LOVE MY SLEEVE!]

 Hi sleeve sister :)
I started at 453 2 wks preop and now weigh 374ish.  Almost 80 lbs since March 1st.  I now walk on my treadmill an hour a day, have less back pain, sleep better, more stamina, increased sex drive, and less depression.  Im eating 700 cals on average, and can tolerate most foods.  I love salad and the minimal cals it has, but I get a weird tightness in my throat//tummy afterwards.  Protein is about 75 g average.  I struggle to get my water in daily, but avg 55 oz most days.

The constant leg swelling I had is now completely gone, which probably accounts for some of my loss.  I am able to wear my wedding rings now, and have gone from ww width shoes to w.  i have lost over 20 inches overall and have gone from a size 30/32 to a 26/28.

I still struggle with head hunger and the desire to eat in volumes.  My sleeve does a great job of preventing that, so its working :).  I am having lots more refux/ acid since eating more regular foods and see my dr tomorrow and will discuss with her.

Regina.  Ready to live again.

That's fantastic.  Looks like you are really making the changes you need to.  Can't wait to see what the future holds for you.  100lbs is just around the corner!

I was sleeved on March 20th I started at 230lbs and now weigh 192lbs for a total loss of 38lbs!!!       I have been having reflux since eating more solids. Water intake is still an issue. I haven't been exercising that much (bad, I know) I plan on walking!                                                                                      I am so happy with my sleeve!! It was the best decision I ever made!!!
