Don't be upset on the size thing.  Every designer had different cuts, not all of them will work for you.  Also you know not every style is for everyone.  Do you know how hard it is for me to find pants? lol it's just how it is skinny or fat finding the right fit is hard.  I have gaps in the waist from almost every pair of pants I own.  Some designers will make a pant that fits for me.  Otherwise the pants have to be tailored in the waist.  It could be the pants were too long in the rise for you...so try and find a pant that has a lower rise to avoid the muffin top.

I can so relate to this post.  Just over the last two weeks I feel like I look worse at this weight then I did 20 pounds heavier.  It is just something about how the deflated part of me is hanging- making me look a lot flabbier all of a sudden.  I don't let it get me down though- like you said that is something we can change once we are ready.  Your post speaks of how much better you feel physically (running and all) so hopefully that will be a daily reminder of all of the awesomeness you are doing for yourself.

Hang in there :)

WOW!  Thank you all so much for the amazing words of encouragement and support.  You don't know how much it really helps.

It also warms my heart to think of having had a positive impact on our community as well.

My Thomas even started leaving little notes on all of the mirrors in our house so that I can't look in one without seeing some word of love or encouragement!

And as Allison pointed out, this should just drive me to keep up my work.

Sorry shopping was such a drag.  We all have the crazy ups and downs with our bodies changing so fast it's really hard to get a grip on what we really do look like.  In my head I looked the way I do now before I lost 100 pounds.  It's hard to know what sizes will fit and what styles wil be best for us.  People of all sizes have the same issues, but I think it can be harder for us.  Hang in there and try agai in a few weeks.  It may feel really different then.

Hey rhearob!

So good you didn't eat over it!  I can have a lot of ups and downs, especially about work, and when I'm up it's hard not to think it will last forever, and ditto when I'm down.  I was grocery shopping today and did *not* like the sideways reflection in the frozen food case.
I vascillate between feeling very fat and very skinny, and I am just not either right now.

Hugs!!  I will send lots of good thoughts your way!

:) Happy

 Rob,

You are awesome! I am sorry you had to experience this but I'm glad to see you being real with the emotion and think of the person you have become. Just a while back, you would probably done anything not to deal with those feelings.

You are a great inspiration and this is a journey. Also, there are compression shirts for men also. It isn't often I'm not wearing one to smooth things out. I only wear full body Spanx for the big events :)

Keep up the good work! *hugs*
