4 Months Post-Op: Before and After Pics!

Yesterday was my 4 month surgiversary with VSG...haha. I am sitting about 2 pounds away from 100 pounds lost from surgical weight and really enjoying myself these days with bike rides and the learn to run program (although that last one is a killer!!). I know the next 100 pounds isn't going to come off quite as easily as this first 100 has come off but I am definitely looking forward to contuing the journey!

Yes! Yes!  That was me!  I went under for an RNY but they couldn't perform it due to a congenital malrotation of my intestines and did the VSG which I had signed off on if it was impossible to do the RNY!  I was super upset too about getting the VSG because I thought it wouldn't work for me given my high BMI...but so far  100 pounds down at just the 4 month mark....I am hoping the next 8-12 months will shed another 100 pounds so I can get to my goal!  Fingers crossed and lots of hard work and determination!
