One month ago today I started my new life.

Since then I've lost 20 pounds.

I've stopped taking my high BP meds.

I have more energy.

I'm sleeping better.

I fit into clothes I haven't worn in years, and am cleaning out my closet and drawers.

What a difference a month makes.

What a difference a sleeve makes!

Thanks to all of you here who have helped along the way!

Thank you. It just kind of hit me, how many positive changes have happened in the past month.  Imagining more is overwhelming!

But I like it.

My reasons for wanting to lose weight had to do with health, energy, being able to get around again and live an active life.  Weight loss was secondary.  Of course, now it seems everything is measured by the scale and it's hard not to think that way.  But in one month I've already seen the benefits I was wanting.
