So I finally did my reward for hitting under 200lbs. For some back story, I used to train horses for a living. I rode every day for years but I haven't ridden since 2004 when my son was born and the weight packed on. Well everything changed today!

**ETA: I completely forgot! I also left the barn and headed to Dover Sadlery to see about breeches and not just one but multiple pairs fit me off the shelf. Size 36. I was floored. That was almost as good as the ride!

My son had a lesson as well, and when he was done they let my daughter faollow me around. It was a fantastic day. Now I'm trying to figure out how to afford one again!

Wonderful! That had to feel so good.    You give me inspiration. I was raised on the back of a horse (Dad was the trainer) but haven't ridden in years. I've thought I might sign up for some lessons after I get some of this weight off. I have no idea what it costs in my area.
In two decades I've lost a total of 789 pounds. I should be hanging from a charm bracelet. Erma Bombeck

This is also one of my goals.  I have always loved horseback riding.  I can't wait to be able to do it again.  I miss my hour long trail rides.

Many congrats to you!

That is a perfect reward!  i haven't been on a horse for a long time.  I think when i was on vacation out west near Yosemite 25 years ago.

Running a race at Pimlico Racetrack and now this:)  You got the spirit girl!

Over the weekend I was checking out horseback riding lessons in my area, so as you can imagine, I love your reward!

I would like to go horseback riding in Hawaii but I'm not sure my stomach will be ready for that much jostling -- 3 hours, I think -- 8 weeks after surgery.  I guess I can ask the surgeon, but finding out in the middle of a long ride would be kind of bad news!

[I'm not gaining weight. I keep lowering my goal!] [I LOVE MY SLEEVE!]
