Learning! Bougie sizes!

 Excuse my 'ignorance' of the unknown but I didn't know bougies came in various sizes??!!??

My doc never mention that. I'm guessing a general rule that he uses only one??!!

they do come in various sizes but many surgeons use one size for all patients. mine does - uses a 32 which is small. my husband had the same size one as me. so your doctor probably uses one size. ask what it is.  diane

 The tube going down. Son docs use a standard size & other docs vary.
