Symptoms of leakage or how did you know?

Once you knew about the leakage, what was the next step?

My doctor did a leak test while i was on the OR table when I was done (while i was still asleep) and they did another one the next day before I was cleared to have anything by mouth. Hopefully your surgeon does the same.

The following morning they took me down to Radiology and had me drink barium while standing at an x ray machine. I got to watch the barium go down and through my sleeve which was so tiny it looked smaller then a straw it was so swollen. No wonder they only let you have liquids at first.
