I was sleeved on Monday and discharged on Tuesday.

I'm still having a lot of trouble getting my liquids in.  My stomach cramps hard when I sip anything.  My entire gut gurgles too.  Am I doing something wrong or will this get better soon?  I'm afraid I'll become dehydrated.

It gets easier, just keep sipping and walking, you may still have residual gas built up.

maybe take smaller sips.... and keep walking

Walk, walk, walk and walk some more because all that stuff they put in your tummy is now trying to get out so be patient.  Trust me I'm a little over three months od being sleeved and felt the same way probably worse and said , what the heck have I done to myself.  I was in so much pain from gas (as I found out later) that I called my surgeon's office and they suggested going to the emergency room since it was over the week-end period.  I even thought that I had pulled a muscle from walking or getting up from what ever.  Anyway a day later and I felt almost brand new.  It will get better I can assure you unless it's something else medically but always follow your doctor's advice/instructions for that matter.  Best wishes and feel better soon.
Best, Barb.

My first few weeks if it was something other than a popsicle or my isopure I had to drink it at room temp bec otherwise my stomach would be in knots.  Maybe try different temps?

I was sleeved Tuesday and felt thesame way! The gas discomfort has gone down considerably, but i still cramp up when i drink - it takes almost an hour to drink the whole 8 oz!

Like everyone else said  - walking helps a lot! Also, posicles, jello and broth does the trick (all sugar free of course and FF broth)
