Hello everyone -
Just thought I would give an update of how the past month has gone for me.  I lost 13 lbs pre-op and am down another 17 as of today.  My goal was to be down 30 by 1 month so I feel real good about that.  I lost 8 lbs the first week and now average about 2 lbs a week.  I had no loss week 2.  I started walking immediately.  The day I got home from the hospital I walked 1 block and just increased it as I could.  I have been walking 6 days a week for the past 3 weeks and last week started the Ease into 5K program.  I have tried zumba and golf last week also (MD said ok).  I cannot start strength training for 2 more weeks.
Things that have changed in only 1 month -
I have SO much energy
I have lost 5 inches from my waist (that is the only thing I measured pre-op)
I don't have stress incontinence anymore
My back hardly ever hurts anymore
I don't snore anymore
I look for things to do to be active instead of spending my free time on the couch

My plan so far - I follow the vets suggestions -
