New Flavor Ideas - mixing Torani syrups and Mio
No you don't! Do it in ziplock bags! I do this all the time with the kids, they love to be able to make their own creations!

Oh wow. I've got to look up some of this stuff. Today is the first day of summer vacation and while the boys are not stir crazy yet I'm sure it's only a matter of time. Organic heavy cream and a glass jar, plus exercise to make it...sounds awesome!. ;)
If you guys eat a lot of yogurt (my kids go though gallons of it), look up crock pot yogurt. It's a long process, but easy and hard to screw up, the taste is out of this world and it makes it fun for them b/c they can add what THEY want to it and you can control the sugar/addatives! I drain half of it overnight in a coffee filter to make myself greek yogurt (its not near as bitter as the store bought brands).
I toss a scoop of protein powder, a cup of almond milk, 2 ozs of greek yogurt and whatever flavor syrup I am in the mood for into my ice cream maker (I have one of those LL Bean ones that you just shake and toss around for a bit, no electricity involved!) and it comes out very, very good. Now that I am in maintenance I sometimes swap out the almond milk for 2% milk. Heaven.
