So about this calorie thing?
I'm going to call my doctor tomorrow but thought I'd ask - how in the hell do you get enough calories in to sustain life the first week? I'm looking at my list and it's all sugar-free/fat free. Since I'm only taking in (doing my damndest) about 64 fluid ounces of "clear-ish: sugar free stuff, how in the world am I going to be able to walk around?
Would 4 oz of 2% milk or one regular Jello kill me?
This is so not a OMG I need a pizza post. Protein alone does not give you energy. You need calories from somewhere, right?
I hope I want to sleep all day because I just had my surgery on Monday and not because I'm not getting any nutrition in.

The tired feeling really is more from surgery right now than the lack of calories. Rest up... your body is telling you that you need it.
As far as the lack of calories, our bodies pull energy from our fat stores when we don't eat enough to fit the bill. That's what weight loss is... eating less calories than we are burning.
