Why chewable vitamins?

Vitamins in pill form make me quite nauseous if I don't take them with food.  Considering we can't eat/drink at the same time.....it can get tricky.

Centrum chewables have everyhing I need, taste good, and eliminates the above problem.

Vitamins used to make me sick, too.  Since I started using Whole Foods natural vitamins (thus, the horse pills) they don't.

I don't like the aftertaste from my chewables.  I should go ahead and take them and get rid of them, though.

Thanks!

My doc recommended the chewables or liquid vites until I was cleared for solids. I picked up PETITE versions of my regular vites (One-a-Day women) and calcium (Citracal). I take the vites am and pm with a meal with a small sip of water. The Citracal doesn't need to be taken with meals. Much easier to get down than the horse pills!!

That makes sense.  I don't have any trouble swallowing my horse pills now, but did before surgery.  I wonder if losing weight made a difference, if it was fat-related.  Fat throat!

Thanks!
