I'm home

 Got sleeved Monday morning and also had a hernia repair.  Woke up pretty good.  Had leak test and it was fine. As I was getting out of the wheel chair blood gushed from one of my incisions.   They stopped it. However this happened every time I sat on the edge of the bed or walked the halls. My dna was all over that place.  The dr came in and stitched it up.  Bloodwork came back and my hemoglobin was real low. Wednesday I got several units of blood.  I had small reaction that was helped with benedryl .  My skin looks sunburned.   Everything is good now and I'm home sipping .gained 3 lbs since weighing in that morning but I'm not freaked out. My nurses were excellent. My dr was awesome. He came to see me 4 times a day.  Ready to get steady on my feet still quite dizzy.  The incisions only hurt when getting up or down. The binder belt helps a lot. Thanks oh friends

 Even with some minor complications, it's behind you now. Don't worry about the weight gain, that's normal. Just follow your dr orders and you will start feeling better and dropping pounds!

Good for you! Glad your home and doing good, I love the positive post I read on here and glad your not flipping out about gaining 3 pds....I'm sure your sleeve will be treating you well real soon! I'm being sleeved August 6th.....so ready to get this done and over with, been preparing since March.....Good luck and keep us informed on your progress.
