HALFWAY TO GOAL!

As of this morning, I have lost 45 pounds and have 45 to go.

I am no longer obese as of yesterday.  I am overweight.

And the best news of all--I looked at vacation pictures and recognize that I'm still fat.  When I looked in the mirror I didn't see it like I do in the photos.  And this is good.  Because I do not want to slip into the "good enough" mode.

I'm in this for the long haul, to hit my goal, and maybe keep going.

OMG gurl, congrats on your 1/2 way point!!! That is a major accomplishment right there!
Gurl, I am right there with you. I see myself sooo big in pics but I do kinda feel smaller IRL & in the mirror too ... I swear, what the hell gives???
You are right, just when I thought I was less than 10 pounds to goal, I realize from photos, sure as heck need to keep going!

At the wedding, I felt thin, and every time a camera pointed my way I didn't feel the need to hide.  So, that is good because there are pictures of me enjoying my son's wedding.  But now I know why I wouldn't let people take my picture when I was this weight before!  LOL

It's all good.  It just means I'm still super-motivated to keep going!

Thanks for reminding me about weddings.  I have 2 to attend to in September.  I need to try my best to get closer to goal by then!!!

You need to come and live in beautiful northern CA where I can kick your ass to goal! Or at least let me drag you into Kara's Kupcakes! LOL!

 I wanna weigh 105 like mini Elina.... So a lot of pounds to go..... Haha!
I'm kidding... But seriously her & Jenn are tiny so it made me realize the top of a normal BMI isn't gonna cut it for me.  I wanna be teeny tiny too!
I was about 10 pounds til goal but changed it to 20 since I took Elina's advice.  I do need an intervention or something.  
I am about 8 lbs lighter & 1 pant size smaller from when we went to the NorCal meet-up.  I showed someone at work those photos & she said I look smaller now than those pics for sure.  But dang, I just need to get this over & done with.
Do you offer Boot Camp sessions??? I need to move to NorCal where all you hardcore peeps are!!!

I left my hair as is for now.  I know my face is going to be changing a lot as I continue to lose weight so I decided not to do anything drasti****il I see how it ends up.  Bangs take a long time to grow out!

Yes gurl, and be careful with your next haircut.  I was looking forward to getting my hair cut 2 weeks ago.  I wanted a long angled bob but my hair stylist convinced me to get "sexy layers".... Sexy layers my ass!  She chopped off my hair!!!  I have the shortest layers imaginable.  Now, I want to wear my hair in a teeny pony tail until it grows out.  Live & learn.  I guess I just put my faith in this woman to cut my hair the way she thought it would look good.  She jacked it up!!! 
I do like your hair now without the bangs.  You're right...be careful with bangs cuz once you get them, they are there to stay for a while!
