A GIFT FROM HAWAII?
I have no explanation for this, but as I posted on Tuesday, I got back from Hawaii weighing the same as when I left, which I considereda win.
Since Tuesday I've lost five pounds.
WTH?
No clue.
But color me bouncy-bouncy!

I haven't lost five pounds in a single week since being sleeved. Go figure.
[booking another flight to hawaii.... i wish!]

Breakfast was on plan every morning except Monday morning when we had a layover in LA and I got the French toast and sausage breakfast at Chili's. Ate all the sausage and one half piece of french toast (yuck, wasn't worth eating). The rest of the time, breakfast was greek yogurt or cottage cheese, sometimes fruit-on-the-bottom greek yogurt, sometimes Fage.
Took Sargento 2% cheese sticks and Peanut Butter Balance Bars in my bag for when we were on the road (we drove all over the big island) and not near a place to eat. (Balance Bars are not a good choice sleeve-wise, since they are higher calorie and carb than most people would want--but I happen to love them so for this trip I used them as a fall-back.)
And when we went into a restaurant to eat, I would eat the protein but also small amounts of not-good foods sometimes. At the luau I ate more carbs than protein, for sure. At the wedding dinner I ate too much--slowly, enjoying it, eating from taste-hunger rather than real-hunger. But it was my son's wedding and I allowed myself that. So on the entire trip I had two meals where I didn't stick to plan at all, but even those, I ate a fraction of what I would have eaten pre-sleeve.
I was a lot more active on the trip than I am at home, which made a big difference, I'm sure.
