Where do you get the caltrate?  The ones I've found on the net and in the store are carbonate not citrate.

I take Centrum Silver chewables multi-vits from the drugstore.  They have no iron so I can take my calcium citrate along with them.  For calcium  I take 1Tbsp of Reviva Calcium Citrate blueberry-flavored liquid (500 mg) (available at Costco.com) and 2 Calcium Citrate chews in Caramel flavor from Bariatric Advantage.  The remainder of my calcium comes from food.  I take an iron supplement at bedtime, separate from the other stuff.  It took a while to figure this out.  Some stuff tastes awful!

I will bring you Bariatric Advantage chews to taste before you order. I have raspberry and caramel. I will look to see if I can find a chocolate for you to try.

I used Tums for calcium (carbonate) an alkaline/base, as also recommended by this public OH forums "sponsor" LapSF/Dr Cirangle for 6 weeks, then Critical calcium citrate w/ mag n D3 (chew em)
I used perscribed by my surgeon:
TwinLabs multi-vit capsules no problem swallowing.
Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol)
Sublingual B12

Supplement Recs for post op peeps.
PROBIOTICS...Complete multi-strain, highest count ..due to IV antibiotics (yeast) prevents candida (thrush) and antibiotic induced diarrhea, replenishes gut microflora killed by antibiotics

EPA/DHA (krill is small, can also get liquid) in conjunction with Vitamin D3 (small) androgen inhibitors for hormonal (triggered by VSG) hair loss that starts fallin out at ~ 3 months post op. Start asap pre-op

Vitamin Shoppe, Health food stores have better varieties...more complete probiotics, liquid multi-vits
Ive taken planet earth liquid vits...great! cherry flavor, vegan friendly.
GNC has some good variety too...calcum chews, probiotics

oh n friendly reminder...don't forget to measure yourself head to toe...inc food width...1 week before or 1 week after (post op bloa****er retention) ...VSG with one of those fabric measuring tape thingies...Record em!!

THOSE NUMBERS ARE GOING TO BE VITAL TO YOUR SANITY THE FIRST 3-4 months...lolol

I use the Celebrate Chewable ( mulit, calcium and b12). However I was trying different flavors and just got the cherry tart in the calcium. While it taste fine it makes me feel a little "bleh" after. So I will not get the cherry tart again. Otherwise I like all the rest.

I prefer Celebrate chewables (Multi complete, Calcium Citrate 500mg with d and magnesium), I pick up my B12  2500 mcg sublinguals at Walgreens (or Walmart) when they have the BOGO special.

You can contact Celebrate at [email protected] for a sample pack.

I still use the Celebrate multi and Calcium in my both of my pregnancies without any deficiencies or issues.
