I am having my VSG on Thursday and am looking for daily chewable vitamin and calcium suggestions.
I see Bariatric Advantage brand, but am wondering if anyone has other recommendations? If so, please tell me where you order them from.

Thank you

My surgeon recommends that we take Bariatric Fusion chewables.  Pre-op, up until 10 days before, he says take one per day.  Post-op (well, after 7-ish days out), he says take three per day for VSG.  The ones I have are strawberry flavor, and while they're not exactly tasty, they're OK.  http://www.bariatricfusion.com

I can't necessarily recommend a calcium citrate or multi to you, just know that I take Bariatric Advantage now and they are positively gag worthy. Don't settle on those options, please. I'll be looking for something else as soon as I finish these bottles. If you find a better tasting option, please share here, lol!

Which bariatic advantage are you taking? Are you talking about calcium or the multi?

The 250 mg calcium chews taste like starbursts and the chocolate tastes like a tootsie roll (same texture too).
I tried their 500 mg chewables, those tasted like chalk!

I take the flinstones chewables from costco for my multi.  I just got the costco brand today, not sure how it tastes yet though.

I take the 500 mg calcium and multi chewable tablets. No wonder I'm suffering! Thanks for the tip... I'll investigate the chews!

I avoided the chews because you have to eat 2, but now that I've had them I'm hooked.  I eat them at work as a snack.  Two oclock used to come and I'd get a cookie or something, now instead I have my calcium chews!
They are totally worth the cost, to me at least:).

If you all are at all concerned with carbs, check that before buying the chewy kinds of calcium. I wanna say they have 6g carbs and you need four a day. That is more than half of my carb allowance.

The bariatric advantage has less than 6, my bag is at work so I can't tell you exact, but its more like 3.  To get 1500 you would have to take 6, I take 4.

Either way, I don't count carbs, the app I use does and I'm rarely over 20 before the calcium...

Thanks though!
