Before and after... and my hair is (kinda) back!!!

Hi!  I'm not on very often lately, but I had to share...

Those of you who have followed know about the issues with my hair... I have worn a wig since August... and I am ALMOST to my one year surgaversary!!!

Here is my hair at my worst...


and here is a before and after... but this time, with my own hair... short, but beats a wig!!!

 Cute short cut.... I'm getting a cut this Saturday... Just don't want to deal with my long hair anymore... Donating the pony tail ;). Hopefully I'll like it short.  Last time it was short was 2002.... 

So wish I had your curls.

Awesome!  You do not even look like the same person, and I love the shorter hair!

You look wonderful! I don't know the hair saga--I'm sorry you had to deal with that and am glad it's growing back. It looks really nice with that cut.

I love the new 'do and the red glasses!  You look absolutely fabulous.  I'm only at day 5 post surgery and my hair is coming out in clumps.  I was hoping it would be later...not sooner!  Keep up the good work

I just have to share here....

I have always had thin hair (genes)
so I've always had short hair to compensate.
After the surgery my hairdresser commented on how thin my hair was.
In the past 3 months she's been pointing out all the little tufts of new hair growth, LoL

so my advice....Rock that short hairdo!
You look fabulous and the difference in your face, skin and eyes says it all.

I am doing pretty well!  The hair did just what the doctor said it would... started to grow back on it's own when it was ready... wish there was a better answer, but looks like the secret was just time!

I look SO happy in that picture do in part to the amazing mas next to me... long and eventful 15 months for me in a LOT of ways, but finding my way back to him (well, okay, more he finally convinced me!) has made me very, very happy... HOWEVER I also learned that I can be very happy solo with just my kiddo and took plenty of time to practice that as well... it's been an amazing, empowering, transformaitive and growth filled year for sure!!!
