I think that most want you to wait 12-18 months just to lose the weight and maintain it for a while.  I had met with my plastic surgeon last year and was getting ready to schedule surgery when I found out my ex was having an affair....then I started having trouble with my band, gained some weight back and ended up revising in Feb.

My surgeon was willing to do surgery on me last year when I was probably weighing a little over 200 pounds.   I actually have another pre op appointment with my plastic surgeon Monday.  The nurse didn't seem to think having a revision would be an issue with surgery in Nov, but I know its ultimately up to the surgeon.  I know my labs will have to be good enough, but I'm very diligent about taking my vitamins and get 60 + grams of protein most days.

I'll let you know what I find out Monday.

Great job on your weight loss!
