Yesterday, My boys and I were watching a comedy flick and I started laughing and I couldnt control it, I had to walk out and today my hubby made me laugh and, MAN does it hurt! My hubby felt bad for making me laugh and I wanted to watch another comedy movie today and he was like NO! LOL. I was actually a little worried that my new sleeve could open up. SOOOO... No more comedies or goofing off with my boys for awhile... Boo! lol.  So 1st question: Is it possible for my sleeve to open up from laughing? My 2nd Question: How long was it before any of you stomach sleepers could sleep on your tummys again? Its been soo hard and I toss and turn for awhile cause I am a big time tummy sleeper. Thanks, Gabbz

Glad to hear your laughing so much! I'm not a Dr. But I doubt you can open up the sleeve. As for the tummy sleeping I smooshed up a pillow to help me sleep on my stomach right after my drain came out about 4or 5 days after I was home.

Sounds like a good idea. When you sleep with your tummy on a pillow, it doesnt bother or hurt you?

No, it didn't bother me at all in fact it really helped for a few weeks then it was back to normal. Remember the tummy is still tender it also helps when you need to cough.

My dr told me that there is a major incision that went through my stomach wall muscle and that is what is caused me the pain while laughing/coughing or standing up too straight. It took me a while to heal from that fully. Belly sleeping for me was prob around week 4-5.
