Questions???

Hey postop'ers & vets!

I have a list of questions wrote down for todays seminar...

Can some of you list some questions just in case I missed some?

I don't know if you're preop or postop, and what questions you already have written down.  It's hard to supply an answer.

I have like 30 written down for the preop seminar w/my doc...

I'm hoping I don't forget anything lol

I figured folks had no clue how to answer once I have 40 views & no responses. LOL!

I'm on my way there in about an hour. YaY!

1.  Will you do a preoperative endoscopy and test for H. Pylori?  (H. Pylori is a bacteria that infects the stomach lining and can cause ulcers).  If undetected and untreated before a sleeve, it can cause trouble post op.

2.  During the preop endoscopy, will you check for a hiatal hernia?  If you find a hiatal hernia pre op or during the operation, will you fix it?

Hiatal hernia can cause acid reflux and GERD.  Left untreated post sleeve a hiatal hernia can cause much gastric distress.
