Yes!  Those small portions get lost on a big dinner plate!

Although I am still waiting on insurance approval, I love that you are listing these. I love the idea of the timer. Much of the diet portion will be based on timing I think it is a great idea. Maybe even a travel timer of some kind for on the road or at work.

Setting my timer this morning is what made me think of it.

Irony:  I have been sitting here ever since and still haven't had my water.

Ice cream maker... a little luxury. You can mix up your shake and pour it into the frozen bowl, and as it turns for 20 minutes, it creates a high protein dessert that offers a different texture. Lovely with almond milk. I'm pre-op and have already tried this out per recommendation. A lovely way to mix-up protein intake.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again while expecting a different result.  It's time to try something new!

A must have item that you dont see mentioned much is an electric cup warmer.  You can also use an electric candle warmer which is what I got because I couldn't find a cup warmer.

We eat so little and it takes soooo long to eat, especially in the beginning that your one or two tablespoons of food that starts out warm and yummy quickly turns cold and yucky.  It so much more enjoyable when every bite is warm and yummy regardless of how long it takes to eat.

This works great for soups, broths and teas as well.

They usually run between $5-$10 and are worth every penny.

This is GREAT!! Thank you for it. I am just getting ready and really want to be ready and prepared.
Thanks to everyone in this post, it is all good advise and needs to be said. I too was a WW for many years, don't own a food scale. That is partially WW fault. They tell you to use your thumb nail, the palm of your hands a deck of cards to measure different amounts. SO, why buy a scale!!

I will now. No repating the same mistakes again!!
Thank you and keep the good advice coming!!

How about ways to survive the two week liquid pre-op diet!!

A bento box lunchbox.  Perfect to have tiny portions of different things for lunch, and they are just too cute to boot.  Just got this one and it is my favorite so far
