what were your faves during the soft food stage?

One more week then I will be in the soft food stage, Yay! Actually, I have been pretty blessed, since the day of Surgery I have had no hunger and as for head hunger, no not really, I just stayed focused on my plan and just kept telling myself, This is all for a great cause and besides it's just temporary and seeing the weight come off was a big plus
I am on purees, I had tiny amounts of the recommended foods but mostly just stuck to two premier protein shakes a day, some cottage cheese, and at least 64oz of water a day. I have my doctors list of foods for the soft stage, but wouldn't mind a few more suggestions. So besides soups, chicken, tuna, egg salads, cottage cheese, greek yogurt, What were your favorites during the soft food stage?

I took it a step further- I was growing cilantro, so I chopped some cilantro, added some GY and a couple dashes of hot sauce, and ate... about a tablespoon! But, it was a darn tasty tablespoon..
Ricotta cheese with melted motz & sauce.. ate a lot of cottage cheese, all sort of ways, soft boiled eggs (couldn't finish a whole one, but it was nice!) Greek yogurt, savory, sweet.. It was a bit limited, but for me it was 10 days.. and was better than the 20 days prior of liquids only. Try making sugar free flan, maybe you could even add a little vanilla protein powder to it? I never tried it, only thought about it afterwards..

Someday soon I will try this, or a variation of it.. I would always make baked egg custards when I was sick (along with tomato soup & grilled cheese sammies.. ah, comfort food.)
