First Cheat Day

To me it was cheating because it deep fried and battered. I have been eating 99% at home and I let myself eat a technical junk food. Even with my 'cheat' I am still under on everything calories/carbs/sugars. I knew cheating by eating junk food would not mess up my diet*

*by diet I mean the way I eat not like a diet/diet

I just came home from dinner and read the posts......(had Chicken Karage.... Fried Chicken)

My post may have been a little hard on you...... It's not really the Chicken.... I would question chicken at 6 weeks out as it seems to
be the most dense protien.

My response is more based on the concept of "Cheat Day"

It just seems like the first step the wrong way.....not saying I was perfect cause I wasn't and I know many that did better than myself, but the thought of going off plan didn't even cross my mind until I had lost well over 100lbs. and had a pretty good grip on the process.

I want you and everyone else that takes on any WLS to do well and get what you want out of it......

I can share with you that it is pretty awesome to be at weight and enjoy "those" foods and know the limitations.

Frisco, you always seem to come from a good place when you respond to me and I did not think it was a hard hearted response. As far as chicken being such a dense protien, it's the only one my stomach really likes!!! I was in shock when I found how well I can tolerate it. It also keeps me full the longest. With the 'cheating' phrase, it was because I ate off plan but considering the menu still a made a much better choice then I could've. The hushpuppies looked so good but I haven't touched bread since pre-op.
