I knew they wouldn't fit-- NSV!
--but I was wrong!
I bought a pair of jeans in size 14 because they were on sale, but I knew I'd have to lose more weight before I could wear them. After all, I was in 18s at the time, even though they were big on me.
Today I didn't have any clean jeans and my husband found the 14s and brought them to me. I was explaining that they were going to be too small as I tried to pull them up, and they came up. I said they wouldn't button when they did.
NSV! Yay!

Whoo hoo!!!!
So be honest.....did it make you weepy? I remember the time I took a pair of 34s into the fitting room. I knew they wouldn't fit because they looked so damn small to me having been squeezing my fat ass and belly into 40s (refusing to go back to a 42 which I should have been wearing). Well, those jeans pulled up and zipped and buttoned, and right there in the fitting room I had a moment. Kind of got emotional! HA! But for me a 34 jean was being back in a "Normal" size, which I hadn't been in a long time!
Congrats! That is an awesome accomplishment.

I didn't get weepy because frankly, we were trying to rush out the door and I was just too stunned. Now, hours later, I'm kind of in awe. Because you know how jeans do. They were snug i the thighs this morning, and now I can pinch the fabric without pinching skin.
Really? This is ME?
It still hasn't sunk in.

That is a great feeling, similar to when I was wearing my size 22s with a belt holding them up. My sister told me to go try on her size 16s that she wanted to give me, I was like they won't fit yet. She kept on insisting I try them on, they actually fit. I guess we just don't see it, I went right from 22s into 16s because I refused to buy any clothes, I did buy a pair of tight 17s skinny jeans at xmas time but now I an wearing 14s with a belt, some if them tend to slide down. I can fit snuggly into 13s but not necessary yet. I don't think my hips are going to go down to allow smaller jeans but will see as the time goes on.
