Went on a quick trip to Orlando this weekend.

Last night I was showering after a long day at the Waterpark (which I pranced my happy ass around in my swimsuit uncovered) and grabbed a towel.

It wrapped all the way around me with no problem! I was totally covered. Almost had hubby take a pic for you guys! No jutting out at the bottom or anything :)

Then we went to Legoland today and I fit on the roller coasters no issues. I mean, I felt like a normal person. Everywhere I looked I noticed people who were sweating more and having a much harder time getting around. Very happy I'm getting in so much better shape.

I also decided to ride the carousel with my son, like on the horse also. The guy came around and said "if you're on the horse, you have to wrap the belt around you." It was like this tiny strap thing. I gave it a try and I was able to fit it! I was shocked. Trust me, that wouldn't have happened 54 lbs ago.

I love what this thing has enabled me to do. I am amazed that only 3.5 months ago someone removed the better portion of my stomach! I feel great!

Thanks everyone! Hope you're doing well also and I know I owe you some pics :)

Congrats! Sounds like you are really "living" now. Thank you for posting this. Us pre-op's need to hear about things to look forward to after WLS. And you just gave my pre-surgery jitters a kick out the door. Because just like you did this weekend, I too look forward to enjoying a theme park without worrying about belts not fitting, not fitting into coaster rides, not sweating from just walking around, etc. So thanks and congrats for such a victory.

You'll love it! I know I'm not on here nearly as much as I was but hearing the success stories is so helpful when you are getting ready to change your whole life! Let me know if you have any questions!

amusement parks are on my "goal" to-do lists. Under 250 pounds is a trip to Canada's Wonderland with my best friend. Then whatever my ultimate goal ends up being (under 200 or better) want to go to Disneyland with my bff. It's exciting to think that Wonderland will likely be next spring!

It's good to hear you're setting goals like that. I have little milestones set up also. And then the fun ones are the ones you don't even think about ! Keep up the good work!

That's awesome.  My surgery is just over a week away and I have a trip to Disney planned for March 2013.  I'll be 7 months out at that time and I believe it will be a whole new experience for me.  No seat belt extenders on the plane, being able to fit comfortably on the rides, being able to get in and out without feeling like I'm uncorking a bottle, etc.  Happy Healthy life, here I come!!!

Yes! by 7 months you will be a totally different person. I'm amazed everyday. Granted I was a bit worn out today which was unexpected but I'm trying to just do what my body needs!
