Emotions

Just a question.....did any of you have emotions running wild before surgery ? I seem to cry at the drop of a hat and not sure why I am crying.

Yes. It is the hormones going wild my doctor told me but it goes away. Hang in there soon you will be on the losers bench.

 Not crying so much but having stomach upset and other aches and pains that I think are associated with anxiety and I have 6 weeks to go!!!!

Thinking maybe I'll be doing a lot of deep breathing and meditating mand if things don't get any better - might ask the dr for something.

 Good luck to you!   Try to find a hobby like latch hook or scrap booking,  it might help you get your mind off the upcoming surgery!  I am day after you!  

I am the same way!!! I cry all the time.. like for no reason at all.. My stomach is all off as well..I have never used the bathroom as much as I have in the last few weeks. I know my nerves are getting the best of me.. but i am really trying to keep them under control.

I have my scope in 3 days, I start my 2 week liquid diet in 21 days and I have surgery in 36 days!! I am sure this is the reason for all my issues!!! :(

I hope they get better and I hope that the scope is a breeze so then surgery isnt so scary.. prayers from me to you all and i could really use the prayers sent my way as well..

I am right there with you! I have my surgery on Aug 29th and I am a roller coaster of emotions. I have had surgeries before so that is ok just the thoughts running thru me like will I be successful? Will there be complications, will I adjust ok. LOL I think it's normal. We know we are about to forever change our lives so it is expected. I think my blood pressure is thru the roof and my nerves are shot. Hang in there. You are getting closer. I can cry easier too. Who knew this would be so crazy. Hugs to you!
