One of the places I wanted to be able to shop once thin enough is Talbots. So, today I finally went in. I wore a 16 comfortably, and now that I think about it probably should have tried the 14. Anyway, I was disappointed to find that the tops were all too short for me. I did find a pair of capris that were incredibly slimming though! Of course, I am sure they were intended to be much longer, but I am good with where they hit. The berumdas almost made it to the knee so pretty happy about that too. Even better was both items were 70% off. Now that I know the size I can hit the talls online- yea!

OMG - I can't wait to shop at Talbots. Their stuff is so classic, especially for work clothes.

i agree... especially about the work clothes part. Great teacher clothes, just wish they ran a little longer for sure. I was shocked at how reasonable they were too... but I am lucky, I have an outlet store 2 miles from my home. Such a bummer that I can never go in a brick and morter store and try on tall sizes though :(

Anyway, just realized on this trip that Talbots has plus sizes- who knew. All that time I could have been shopping there! Many things are 60% off right now too- seemed like the majority of the store. Got the extra 10% by signing up for their rewards program.
