Two bits of good news:

The first is that I lost 11 pounds during my seven-day pre-op diet. Woot woot!

The second is that I am sleeved and have officially joined the losers' bench. Recovery is going very smoothly. Very little pain, and I've been up and walking a bunch already. Had my leak test this morning and everything looked good so I should be able to start sipping shortly. It feels wonderful to be starting the first day of my new life.

Thanks to the whole OH family for all of the support! This is a great forum.

CONGRATULATIONS!! Welocme to the other side and best wishes for a speedy recovery. Sounds like you are doing great so far. Keep moving and sipping as you can. It's the best thing for you. Once you get home you will feel even better. Have a wonderful weekend!
