Why did I gain .8oz????? Stress? Lack of calories? Lack of liquids? Was my body holding on to what was in it?
Yesterday I had 1.5 protein shakes, 3 small bites of chicken breast, and water (not my 64 oz)

I gained FIVE lbs a couple of weeks ago. It was from my period and water retention. Don't sweat it, you are doing well. You will lose it. When I lost my five, I lost an additional ten the next week. I believe you may be dealing with water retention. Be sure to drink all of your water!! Keep up the good work, you are doing well!!

Don't be depressed, your body is going through a funky time.  You really need to get in ALL your fluids and protein. DON'T cut back because you think you're not losing.  It will happen --I know it's hard, but TRY and be patient.

I am almost 4 weeks out and I have stalled, I told my husband to hide the scale from me.  I am just going to have to wait until my follow up next week before I find out.  I am just going to stay the course and it will fall off.  There is no way that it won't but it depresses me when I have a gain or no loss, so that is how I am going to handle it.

I am 4 weeks out today. When I stay the same, it doesn't bother me, but when I gain anything at all (only 2 times have i gained) it throws me for a loop! I hate it!

You gained .8 from yesterday? You really can't go by daily weigh ins... or things like this happen. While I weigh myself every day, the only one that counts towards whether I am gaining/losing is Friday morning. So if over a week the number goes up, I'd be concerned (it hasn't happend in 3 months post op).

I'll say it again - step away from the scale!!!

It is NOT a stead progression downwards. There's daily fluctuations, week-long stalls, etc.  I managed not to weigh myself for a week when I hit a stall and I dropped 5 pounds.

This is NOTHING to be depressed about!

I think that I transferred my food addictions to scale addictions!

LOL! Easy to do!

Just try and relax and enjoy the ride and the process.

The scale can make you CRAZY!  Eventhough I vow not to I still weigh myself everyday, I lose five pounds and stall for 3 weeks, lose 5 more and stall again... just a little bit of a slow loser here.  Just follow your plan, don't pay attention to what other people are losing (really makes me nuts) and keep up with fluid and protein requirements.. you will do fine.
