I had a cooky comment thrown my way back in June at the beach.  My sister-in-law's dad has known me since I was 12!  He, along with all the others, have seen me go up and down and up and down for YEARS...when he saw me in June he said, "so is this the Maria we'll see now for awhile"...HUH???!!!  I said, "yes forever".  My sister-in-law apologized on his behalf.  I brushed it off and took another look at myself in the mirror and smiled knowing that this time is REALLY is forever!!!

Good job on your transformation! You look wonderful! I too had a stupid co-worker tell me that he hopes I wouldn't be one of THOSE people who lost all of the weight and then in 5 years gain it all back. I was like WTF???? Nice. Thanks for you support dude.

Loved this post! You are starting to sound like our Vets. :) This post reminded me that I needed to update my own 7 month post op photos.

Congratulations on your weight loss success! You look incredible in your photos. These photos and your words are inspiring. I am surprised that your family members would say things like that. Although I have noticed everyone I run into tells me not to lose any more weight and I think my BMI still lists me as someone who is obese. I can't stop now. We will do this and get to our true goals and not worry about these silly people who say things that in your situation was completely unsupportive and for me just uninformed. I did this to be healthy and I do not want to remain in the Obese category.
Keep on posting about your progress it really helps motivate me and I am sure it is motivational and inspiring to the pre-op members.
