Stitches???

Hey yall

When will these stitches that are still sticking up out of my incision spots going to came out, fall off or whatever they will do? I still have them and my incisions are basically healed. I am almost 6 weeks out

Did you ask your surgeon? Seems like he/she should snip them and removed them with surgical tweezers.

I didn't have stitches. My surgeon used surgical adhesive.

Are they the dissolvable ones that were inside? I had mine poking out and I was told to just clipthem or pull them out.

Yes they are the ones from the inside. I had glue on the top. Ok I will call surgeon office on monday to get the permission to clip or whatever I have to do.

I went to my surgeon today...I had the same issue...he took some tweezers, pulled it just enough so the knot came out then snipped it after the knot. He told me when the others work their way out to do the same thing.
