22 days out and nothing stays down
Hi! I am not sleeved yet, but I was just in the class and my NUT said that this is common for some people. She said that we have to individualize our eating for the first 6 weeks and if we can't keep things down, then we need to return to the previous stage and take it as slow as we need to. I hope I do okay. I am really sorry that you're struggling. I am sure someone here will chime in and give you some good advise.
Lost 271lbs with my LapBand in 22 months! My Band malfunctioned and I gained almost 42lbs and then revised to the Sleeve 9/24/12! I lost another 140 lbs with my Sleeve! Loved the LapBand and Lovin' The Sleeve!
I am a little over 3 weeks out and my nausea has been horrible. I have been to the ER for dehydration once, hospitalized for 3 days for dehydration and so they could do tests, and had to get fluids when I went in today for an apt. And all of that is on 3 nausea meds. So I feel for you. I hope it gets better soon. Stay on liquids longer if you need to. (((hugs)))

Are you able to get in enough fluids? If you are dehydrated, that will make you nauseous... sometimes we can't catch up, especially if things aren't staying down. I would talk to your dr and see if they can't help you out figure out what is causing the nausea. It might not be something you ate or drank. You can get prescriptions for nausea that might help you get ahead of it. Worse case, don't be afraid to go to the dr and ask them to give you some IV fluids to see if that helps. I certainly won't hurt you and you might be surprised how much it can turn things around for you.
I'm at 14 days from surgery and so far so good, but I took a lot of nausea medications the first week. And even this second week I have needed it a few times. I notice the nausea is worse when I haven't been drinking enough water. I will set my timer on my phone for 5 minutes, take a couple of sips, set my timer for 5 minutes again and again, taking a couple of swallows every 5 minutes until I manage to get through about 32 oz and at that point I will usually feel a lot better.
Hang in there and don't be afraid to ask your dr for help.
