The past few weeks I just have not felt good. I am 9 weeks out and have lost 42 lbs and have come to a stand still. I believe I was dehydrated and had an iv to help me rehydrate. I thought that might no the trick, but not really.  My lower back hurts all the time. I feel queezy. I don't have much energy. Just all around blah. This has been my first time to really say "what have I done".  I am miserable and not loosing weight.  I just feel horrible.  What is going on with me??

Sorry to hear you are not feeling well
My advice (of course I am no doctor or medical professional of any kind) is to keep pushing your fluids, especially water and get in your protein. If I haven't eaten anything, I feel yucky. Even just a string cheese makes a difference. I am finding that it is better if I eat something every 2-3 hours or so. I hope you feel better. Check with your surgeon too for some suggestions.

Are you logging what you are eating? You want to get at least 64 oz of water, probably more like 80 oz especially if you are feeling nauseous, 70-80 grams of protein, get at least 650 cals a day, and take your vitamins. Some people have to play around with how much of each that exactly works for them. If your body is not getting what it needs then it will shut down and stop losing.

Talk to your dr and your nutritionist and see if they can help. It could be you are not getting enough calories, protein or fluids. It could also be that you are low in iron or some other nutrient. They can do blood work to test what you might be missing. It's often some little thing that you are missing.

Hang in there...hugs!
