OK...so I tried making it because I need some protein and something warm.....I made sure it was not too hot and all...but I could not get the lumps to dissolve.   How do you do this?  Thanks for you help.

the only way I can get it to work is the broth has to be luke warm, and then I sprinkle in just a little bit at a time and use a mini whisk to mix it in and slowly add it till its all in, then I can microwave it for another 30 secs to warm it up a little bit.  I tried dumping it all in to the hot broth at once and it curdled like milk...it was awful.  Keep trying. :)

Hi Sledge

Usually the Chicken Soup mixes well because it is easier to mix protein in to warm water.

The only thing i can guess is that maybe it is still just a little too warm.  Maybe try for 120 degrees, see if it mixes well then.  If that works, you can still microwave it for 5 seconds more at a time to get up to 140 F.

Then in the future you will know about how much total microwave time you need.

Does that help?   Please let me know how that works.  My email is Jerome@......

I have one of the thermometers that you stick in your soup/liquid.  It came with a starter pack I got when I ordered my unjury soup.  I have never had a problem as long as I can keep the temp 120* or below.
If you aren't using a thermometer - and just guessing - you are probably overcooking.  I did it every time I "thought" it had cooled enough.  lol

It's definately about the temperature....at first I hated it because I couldn't get the consistency right, I was actually going to send it back. But I decided to give it another try, and now I'm a pro ;-)

As one of the posters said, it mixes easier for sure if you ad a little a time , wisk, then ad more, wisk, repeat.

I don't use a  wisk, because I find a fork can work just as well, but if u do have a wisk then all the better.

I promise , the first time you get it mixed well, you'll be okay with it....I like to add a shake of Mrs Dash for a little more flavor.

Good luck!

I am pre-op but absolutely love the chicken soup. I have a rubbermaid 12oz container (i think thats the size). I run the hot tap water, put in 8oz and put in the microwave for 30 seconds. Put the thermometer in and everytime it is 130 degrees...perfect. Add one scoop of powder, twist the top on and shake, shake shake. Then I open the flip top and release some air, reclose and shake a couple more times. Comes out perfect for me everytime, I've never had any clumps or lumps!

Good luck!
