NSV: Crying/laughing like Beatrix Kiddo...
...at the end of Kill Bill when she's in the hotel bathroom sobbing and then laughing? That was me today!
Although I've probably dropped only 2 pounds or so this week (5-week stall??), my ability to get into some really cute Deb jeans I bought 3.5 years ago made my day! These were jeans that I bought but didn't try on...and then realized they didn't fit at all. So...needless to say I was super happy that they finally fit!! Then, just to see my progress, I was able to ZIP AND BUTTON my very favorite Lane Bryant jeans that I haven't worn in 10 years!!!! I don't believe I'm ready to go out of the house in them yet (hi there, tummy...), but I can definitely wear the other ones out and about, and my boo-tay looks cute!
So yes, I was laying on my bed in my jeans, having a fit of tears and giggling...I still can't believe this lifestyle change is working for me, and that I'm actually seeing results! Have a good Saturday, everyone!

That's a GREAT NSV!!! I keep thinking I should try on the one and only pair of jeans I have. But I think my tummy is still way to big.............maybe next month LOL
It's great shopping in our closets, yes???? Nice things saved with the hopes of fitting in them some day! Some day is here! Yea YEA YEA for you!!!

It feels good to be comfortably in size 24 pants rather than attempting to squeeze into them! Which leads me to realize that I wasn't a pure 24 in a loooong time, even though I rationalized that I was. Whoops. (Tops are more like 22 now, bottoms are not.)
I'm thinking I'll need to start taking some clothes that no longer fit to a local resale shop for plus-sized ladies...to make room for the store I have in the basement! Ha ha!! I have many boxes in the basement that are waiting for me to comb through to find more clothes. Now I wonder how many are kind of outdated (I tried to sort out the ancient fashions the last time we moved, but there are likely some that were left behind). It would be so nice to get some money back, as I used to be quite the clothes horse...
