I am a daily weigher, BUT I don't recommend it unless you have the ability to recognize that it will go up and down. I need that daily reminder of what I'm doing and why. I don't freak out if it goes up a pound or two (hell, it always does anyway). I've learned to deal with it. I don't take a scale with on vacation or anything, but it is part of my routine.
Either way, great article... if a little conflicting

Lost 271lbs with my LapBand in 22 months! My Band malfunctioned and I gained almost 42lbs and then revised to the Sleeve 9/24/12! I lost another 140 lbs with my Sleeve! Loved the LapBand and Lovin' The Sleeve!
However, I think right now, at 4 weeks out, I still need to weigh myself daily for accountability. If I notice my weight increase a pound, or not move for a day or 2, then I become more conscience of what I'm eating, increasing my activity, etc.
Now I know that in another few weeks, the weight loss will be less dramatic as it has been this first month. And at that point I'll drop down to 2x a week (better than 2x an hour, right?). But again, I'm conflicted because I know I'm overly obsessed with the scale, but it's the accountability factor that I need.
