My food is BORING
Not my problem at all! I love to cook and am having a lot of fun figuring out new and tasty ways to eat protein and veggies. A new favorite is green beans in a balsamic vinegar reduction with fre****alian herbs! (I know, not the lowest carb veggie, but I love them and considering I can only eat about 15 calories of beans, I figure I'm safe! LOL)
Tonight I'm grilling pork loin center cut chops smeared with a columbian spice wet rub! YUM! Yup, I make enough for left overs, so I can enjoy it for lunch. But I am one of those people who CAN eat the same thing for lunch for a few days and not be annoyed by that. Dinner needs to be a new meal each day for me, though. That way I don't get bored.

I love all of your ideas..I'm still pre-op and trying to get my ducks in a row so to speak. This may have already been asked but I didn't see it anywhere, Is there a cook book or anything like it for post op menus. I'm not a good cook, know nothing about spices and my cooking is very boring. I always short on time because I work full time then rush home throw something easy together and get out the door for exercise. So my biggest fear is eating after surgery.
I use cabbage a lot...... you can flavor it any which way.......unlimited slaw combinations you really cant miss.......
and....... you can prepare it cold or hot !!!!
and it lasts in the fridge for a long time.....
